I was deep in my addiction, and lost. When I was incarcerated I found out I was pregnant with my first child; I knew immediately I had to change for the both of us. I’ve been at Adult & Teen Challenge growing my relationship with God. I am expecting a baby girl this year, I found my purpose and I hope to gain an understanding of life and be a light in this world.

I came to adult & teen challenge to become a better person and mother. I want to graduate and I hope to receive healing, become a Christian and embrace others the way Jesus does.

I came to ATCOT because I was homeless and struggling to provide for my daughter. I had an experience when I was homeless that opened my eyes, and I realized I needed to get closer to God. I have now been here for 3 months and give God all the glory for giving me a second chance to take care of myself and daughter.

I came to Adult & Teen Challenge because God called me to be here, to finish something that began 10 years ago; the first time I went through the program. I’m eager to see what God has planned for me after this year is completed.

I came to Adult and Teen Challenge searching for a change and a chance to live, feeling lost, abandoned, and beaten down. Through the Holy Spirit, I was shown that the light was God's guidance, leading me back to Him and reminding me that once I step into the light, there's no going back.

I am here at Adult & Teen Challenge to break the cycle of addiction; both my parents are struggling with addiction. I am the oldest of all my siblings and I don’t want them to see this addiction ruin my life. I am need of a Savior, friend, comforter and Father!

Before coming to Adult & Teen Challenge, I experienced a miracle—God’s grace saved both my son and me. Knowing I needed to get my life together but unsure how, I prayed and decided to commit to the program for a year. My goal is to build a deeper relationship with God, regain stability for myself and my son, and allow God to help me establish a renewed foundation in Christ.

I came to Adult & Teen Challenge because I want to be fully healed. I want to be in a recovery program that has routine, protection, that is rooted in a community with love & support. I can learn in a calm and non-judgmental environment. I truly feel led by the Holy Spirit to be here.

I’m at Adult & Teen Challenge of Texas because I let go of God's hand in my pride and anger, leading to a relapse after two years of sobriety. I’m hoping to strengthen my relationship with God, overcome life’s struggles, and build a strong and firm foundation in Christ for my children, so I can pass on strength and stability to my family.

I came to break free from my addiction, where I let my flesh control my choices, enjoying sin in the moment but feeling broken afterward. I used to live for myself, but now I’m surrendering my mind and body to God, seeking purity and using my temple for His glory. I no longer live for my flesh, but for Jesus, the King of my heart, and I am breaking generational curses—this ends with me.

I came to Adult & Teen Challenge to gain sobriety and being in the Presence of the Lord my Savior. God has shown me his forgiveness to break away from the sin I was living in. I’m gaining wisdom and knowledge to know the difference. I’m surrounded by the Love of God and give Him all the honor and glory.
